Grace Eyre Ambassadors

The Ambassadors are a team of self-advocates who:

  • advise on projects and accessibility;
  • deliver training on self-advocacy to people we support;
  • run forums in conjunction with other departments to gather the views of people we support;
  • decide and support organisational campaigns; and
  • sit on internal and external panels.

Purple Productions

A team of volunteers with lived experience of learning disability and/or autism, who run accessible events in the community that are primarily for people with a learning disability and autistic adults, including regular club night Purple Clubhouse. These events support and promote disability culture across Sussex.

Accessibility and Inclusion

A team of staff members who support the work of Grace Eyre as an inclusive organisation by developing easy read materials, overseeing staff forums, hosting election hustings and other political activity, and more.

Training and consultancy services

As part of our accessibility strand of work, Our Voices provides training and consultancy services for charities and businesses, focusing on the inclusion of people with a learning disability and autistic people within organisations.
