Gift Aid

Are you a UK taxpayer? It is easy and doesn’t cost you anything. By signing up to the Gift Aid scheme you could enable us to reclaim the tax on donations made during the past four years, meaning for every £1 you donate we can claim an extra 25p!

All you need to do is include details of your charity gifts on your tax form.

For example if you were to donate £10,000 to Grace Eyre:

we can reclaim Gift Aid as above, so your gift is now worth £12,500

In addition, you can also claim higher rate tax relief for yourself. This is calculated as 40% (the higher rate) minus 20% (basic rate) of £12,500 (your gross donation), i.e. £2,500. Meaning, your gift has only cost you £7,500 but is worth £12,500 to Grace Eyre and the people we support.

Payroll Giving

Give without doing anything extra – you are already brilliant, there’s no need to climb a mountain, or jump out of a plane, just give through your payroll, (Give As You Earn ‘GAYE’). It’s as easy as that!

With payroll giving, your gift is taken before you pay any tax – meaning that with a gift of £10 we will receive at least £10.18 and as much as £12.50 depending on your tax band.

Legacy

Leaving a gift in your will to Grace Eyre could be your greatest legacy.

We have been able to develop and deliver our wide range of services that support people in our local community. Your gift can help to ensure that we are there for families today and in the future.

Making a will is important because it gives you the peace of mind of knowing that your wishes will be respected. The process does not have to be time-consuming or expensive, though everybody’s circumstances will be different.

After you have provided for family and friends, any gift you choose to make will help us to provide care in the future. There is no minimum amount: we are grateful to receive gifts of all sizes.
