Our Mosaics session is a welcoming, hands-on creative group where you are supported to make a mosaic from start to finish, learning the whole process in a relaxed, structured way.
You will explore inspiration, agree a theme or project as a group, then draw a design, transfer it onto a board and build it step-by-step with tiles. You will develop your focus, patience and pride as your artwork takes shape!
As your confidence grows, you will be supported to progress through the finishing stages, including grouting and polishing. You will learn to use the right tools and safety equipment.
Support is tailored so you can take part at your own pace. Your progress will be encouraged and celebrated – you will feel a real sense of achievement!
There are opportunities to showcase your talent by displaying your pieces in exhibitions or offering them for sale.
You will develop a genuine “artist journey” with real outcomes such as creating a portfolio of work and contributing to community events such as Brighton’s Artists Open Houses.
