Animation is a creative and hands-on session where you can learn how to make animated films using stop-motion techniques.
You will explore a wide range of materials including plasticine, paper, found objects, wood and textiles, giving you opportunities to experiment with textures, shapes and movement in a playful and accessible way.
Working alongside a freelance tutor, you get step-by-step support to plan your ideas, frame scenes, photograph each movement and digitally combine images to create short animated films.
You will develop patience, focus and problem-solving skills, while also building confidence with using cameras and digital technology in a supportive environment.
