June is Learning Disability Pride Month!
This is a month of pride and celebration by and for people with a learning disability. Often underestimated as a community, this is a month to shine!
Look out for the latest videos filmed by our Grace Eyre Ambassadors on our social channels throughout the month!
- group video discussing speaking up
- talking about the Learning Disability Register
- learning disability versus learning difficulty
- people sharing why they’re proud.
Working with Learning Disability England
We are thrilled to be working with our friends at Learning Disability England (LDE) this year to help support and promote Learning Disability Pride.
Gary Bourlet, a long time advocate of Learning Disability Pride at LDE, said:
“Learning Disability Pride is about being proud of your learning disability. I’m really pleased that Grace Eyre is helping to support and promote Learning Disability Pride. It’s great to see groups like Grace Eyre stepping up to keep the spirit of Learning Disability Pride alive and growing.”
