Course information

Our free course for people with a learning disability and autistic people will be led by an expert tutor using the Essential Digital Skills Framework and will focus on the 8 Foundation Digital Skills.

The workshops will focus on essential digital skills based on the essential digital skills framework set out by the government. Some of the skills taught include turning on and operating a device (laptop, tablet, phone), setting up an email, using word processing, communicating via social media and checking NHS appointments.

  • All digital equipment will be supplied
  • 1-1 tutor to help guide and evaluate progress throughout
  • Breaks and lunch: drinks and snacks will be provided but learners will need to bring their own lunch

Note:

Learners are encouraged to sign up to both workshops.
