Stuart and Peter, a Grace Eyre volunteer, go on weekly community outings in Sussex.
Peter has been a very active volunteer at Grace Eyre for many years. He supports Stuart on weekly community outings, including visits to Brighton, Hove, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells.
Their most recent trip was to Arundel. They explored the town, saw the cathedral and castle and visited a local wetland.
Stuart said:
“We had a lovely walk around the lake. We saw lots of wildlife. We stopped for an ice cream before heading back. We both really enjoyed the day.”
Stuart said that he enjoys trips with Peter.
He said:
“It really feels like I’m doing something independently. I like chatting to Peter.”
