Do you have a spare bedroom?
Are you looking to help people in your local community?
Would you like to increase your income by providing accommodation and support in your own home?
Grace Eyre’s Shared Lives Scheme is looking for people to become self-employed professional carers to be able to offer a room and support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and/or autism. Previous experience in care is helpful, though not essential as training and support is provided throughout through a team of Shared Lives Co-ordinators who will work closely with you.
We are especially interested in hearing from people with a spare room/bedroom on ground floors anywhere and/or people in the Crawley/Horsham area where this service is currently missing.
