The role is for a Service Manager at a Supported Living service in Coldean, Brighton. We currently support 4 people in the service and are extending the service over 2 addresses and increasing the service number to 6 or 7 people.

 

In the role as Service Manager you will be required to ensure the service is meeting all the necessary standards to CQC and report to the registered manager. You will be required to complete tasks such as, finance and medication monitoring, health and safety monitoring, ensure support plans are up to date, take part in reviews, supervisions and appraisals of staff, recruitment of staff and most importantly ensure the people we support in the service live fun fulfilled lives and are involved in their care in a person centred way. You will also be responsible to manage a rota and be part of the On Call service with other managers.

 

The applicant will need to have experience and/or knowledge of Supported Living services, working with people with learning disabilities or autism, managing staff teams. The applicant will need to have good communication skills and be able to manage their workload effectively in a demanding role.
