Grace Eyre provides positive, educational and joyful activities and events for people with a learning disability and/or autism in a range of locations.
Our pioneering activities encourage ambition and progression in a safe and supported environment.
They are designed to achieve positive outcomes for people’s personal and professional development, as well as to provide the opportunity to make and spend time with good friends in a welcoming atmosphere.
Through our Active Lives programme, we offer support and training for greater independence, including travel training, employment & volunteering opportunities, and the chance to gain skills and qualifications.
We also provide opportunities to express creativity through a variety of different media including fine art, mosaic, and photography, as well as performance arts.
And we also promote and encourage healthy living including by offering a wide range of sporting activities and by teaching cooking skills.

We offer a wide variety of exciting sports activities. Many activities are delivered with partners, including Special Olympics Sussex. Our sports take place in safe and accessible locations in communities across Sussex.
The Purple Clubhouse is a monthly club night run by autistic people and people with learning disabilities, through the Purple Productions team, for everyone in the community.

Grace Eyre’s allotment is one of approximately 300 plots at the Weald Allotment site in Hove.
It is a fantastic space with huge potential to provide opportunities for the people we support. It is a place where we can establish connections with the wider community, break down barriers and contribute to a more equal and inclusive society.

In addition to the Chalk Cliff Trust and Brighton & Hove City Council, our work is also kindly supported by Mencap, Waitrose and the David Solomons Charitable Trust.
