Instructions for Oliver McGowan Training

Before you can complete The Oliver McGowan Autism Mandatory on Learning Disability and Autism, you will need to register for an account on the NHS Portal NHS England elearning for healthcare Hub.

If you already have an account, you can skip to Step 2.

Step 1: Register for an NHS Portal NHSE elfh Hub account

To register for an account, please follow the steps below. You can also download step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

1. Go to https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk/.
2. Click on ‘register’ to set up an account.
3. Select the following and then click on register:
   • About You: I work in social care.
   • I work in a care setting: GRACE EYRE CHOICES SUSSEX, NHS BRIGHTON AND HOVE CCG (SOCIAL CARE SITE)
   • Your care setting registration code: ND-VNEVA
4. Complete the ‘Registration Details’ section and then click on register.
5. You will then see a Confirmation of Registration.
6. You will receive an email confirming your registration which will then enable you to login to the NHS Portal.

Step 2: Complete The Oliver McGowan Training

To complete the training, please follow the steps below. You can also download step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

1. Go to https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk/Component/Details/781480.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Enter your username and password and then click Sign in.
4. Click Enrol.
5. Click Continue with Enrolment.
6. Click on the link – The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism – Part 1 of 2.
7. Click on the top one – The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism – Part 1 of 2.
8. Click on Enrol.
9. Click Continue with Enrolment.
10. Click Play on Evaluation: pre-learning. The training will start with a pre course evaluation which will need to be filled in. The pre course evaluation will open on a new tab. You will see the below screen which will need to be completed with your details.
11. Once completed the evaluation you will see a screen that says: Pre-elearning evaluation: The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism 100% Complete.
12. When you have finished the pre course evaluation, please close that tab and go back to the original tab with the 3 modules. The module that you have completed will be highlighted with a star.
13. Click Play on eLearning: The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. Once you have completed the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training eLearning you will be asked to complete a post evaluation survey. This then completes your training, all speech boxes for each module will be marked in blue.
14. Click on ‘The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism – Part 1 of 2, on the left-hand side of your screen which will take you to the screen below to obtain your certificate.
15. Click and download the certificate, middle button as above to download the certificate and send to training@grace-eyre.org.
