On Sunday 12th October, Lulu, who is supported by Grace Eyre, joined by 7 others and Dobby the dog walked 6km from the Palace Pier to Rottingdean. It took just under an hour and a half to complete the route along the undercliff path, enjoying the good weather and great company.
Lulu did a great job of planning the event, getting people to join her and raising a fantastic amount of money in aid of Grace Eyre.
Lulu said:
“I really enjoyed walking with everyone and it was great having Caroline’s dog join us. I think he enjoyed it too. The weather was good.
Thank you to everyone who donated to raise money for Grace Eyre. I wanted to raise money for Grace Eyre because they need help with things.
I would love to do it again, maybe a bit further next time to Hove Lagoon with a stop at Maroccos for ice cream! I would like to get more people supported by Grace Eyre to do more walking.”
Lulu is really keen to get more people walking and is aiming to get a team of people to take part in the Brighton Miles event as part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend in April next year.
