2024/25 was a year of challenges and change – but also of huge, positive impact at Grace Eyre.
We are so proud of what we achieved last year.
Despite a difficult financial environment, which put an end to our Big Build dream, we still supported 700 people through our services and reached even more people through our community events, partnership work and communications.

Some highlights of our achievements
Led by Our Charter, we invite you to take a look at some of our achievements during 2024/25.
Making sure the people we support are listened to
We are working towards Grace Eyre being more user-led.
80% of the Our Voices team and three of our trustees have a learning disability and/or are autistic, with plans for more to join our board.
Running activities in our local communities
Active Lives delivered activities throughout communities in Sussex.
Grace Eyre’s Purple Productions Team hosted 50 events attended by 1,373 participants.
293 people were supported by Grace Eyre’s Choices service to access community venues.
Helping people to have strong, supported relationships
Whether it is with who they live with – for example, supporting 63 people through Grace Eyre Shared Lives – or who they are friends or partners with, we have helped people to form and maintain many different relationships and friendships.
Providing good housing through our supported living services
Our Choices service supported 95 people to live independently.
Grace Eyre Housing also supported 162 tenants and successfully launched a new Peer to Peer support project.
Helping people with a learning disability and/or autistic people feel more able to find a job
We have helped people find work and volunteer opportunities, both at Grace Eyre and in other workplaces.
100% of learners on our West Sussex employment courses said they had increased their ambition
Providing the skills people need to travel around more confidently
Through our Travel Buddy project, we have helped people to become independent travellers.
We trained people attending Active Lives activities to learn the new journey to Telecom House and secured funding to provide travel training for the next 3 years
Providing opportunities to try new things
We created opportunities for people to build life skills through our employability and skills courses.
We also supported people to visit new places and try new experiences. 47 people were supported by our brand new service at The Reach in Kemptown, Brighton.
Supporting more healthy lives
Our Healthy Living workshops, talks and sessions were delivered to over 70 people.
We also delivered 750 Active Lives sports sessions over the year.
Our impact in numbers
Proud of our amazing staff team
We are really proud of our kind and supportive staff and the hard work that they do everyday.
We have a staff turnover that is significantly below the social care sector average. We are also pleased to have achieved the Investors in People Silver Award.
And, of course, we would like to thank everyone who has helped us make a big impact this year.

Anna Cooley, Chair
Anna Cooley, Chair of Grace Eyre’s Board of Trustees, said:
“A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated staff, volunteers, ambassadors, trustees, partners and funders. Your continued commitment has made these achievements possible, even as the voluntary sector faces increasingly tough financial challenges.”
