Cleo Dibb, Our Voices Manager, said:

“Creating accessible hustings events is one of many steps we can take in supporting autistic people and/or people with learning disabilities to be involved in the political process. Our aim is that people – including the candidates – come away from the event with a better understanding of how people with learning disabilities and autistic people can be supported to access politics, voting and their rights as citizens.”
