Many rail companies are thinking about closing ticket offices at railway stations.
If these plans go ahead, some of the ticket offices that would close in our area include Brighton, Chichester, Crawley, Hove, Littlehampton and Worthing. There are many more.
We at Grace Eyre are concerned about these proposed changes. We will be writing a letter of objection on behalf of all the people we support and our staff.
How you can take action
Add your name to our letter of objection
We realise that writing your own email objecting to the ticket office closures is quite complicated.
So, if you would like to add your name to our letter, please fill out the form below.
We need to send our letter on 26th July, so please add your name by 25th July 2023.
This form has now closed.
Write your own email
If you would like to write your own email directly to the train companies, there is lots of information and guidance on the Transport for All website, as well as on other ways to protest.
Sign a petition
Sign this petition to ask the Government to make sure there are ticket offices and platform staff at train stations. The petition is open until 18th October and if it reaches 100,000 signatures, MPs will have to consider it in Parliament.
You can also sign this petition organised by 38 Degrees to the Secretary of State for Transport.
