Our friends at the Try a Train project are looking to run a free Try a Train workshop in Brighton. So, if you use the train or you want to rebuild your confidence in rail travel, then this will be perfect for you.

A typical session may include:

  • meet and greet general social distancing brief – wear a mask at all times on the station and platforms (unless exempt), keep 2 meters apart, wash hands or use sanitiser regularly, toilets that are open.
  • changes at the station to keep people safe – hand sanitiser, one way system, floor markings for social distancing, increased frequency of cleaning.
  • travelling by train – standing back to allow others off the train before boarding, one person per two seats unless with your family/bubble, questions & answers

The session will be held at Brighton railway station at a date to be decided. If this sounds interesting to you, please contact travelbuddy@grace-eyre.org with your name and contact details and we will get back to you.

We look forward to hearing from you!
