Congratulations on achieving the prestigious We Invest in People Award.

We wanted to say a big thank you to all our staff who completed the Investors in People survey, took part in interviews and team meetings that were observed.

It is an important process for the organisation to go through as it really does give us a complete picture of what Grace Eyre are doing well and what we need to improve on.

We receive a very complete and detailed report which the Executive team will be going through in detail. They will agree an action plan for the whole organisation to work with and this will be shared with you all.

Achievement of the ‘We Invest in People’ framework is not easy, and we are very pleased to announce that we were awarded Standard.

Here are some extracts from the report that you all should feel very proud of:

‘Congratulations on achieving the prestigious We Invest in People Award. This is well deserved and something you should all be proud of. Furthermore, as an organisation you have achieved four of the nine indicators at ‘established’ level or above, demonstrating that you are on your way to achieving Silver level accreditation. This result demonstrates the continuous improvement that has taken place over the past twelve months along with your dedication and commitment to develop good people strategies.

It is fair to say some of the indicator results are borderline. However, we are all currently working and living in unprecedented times as result of COVID-19 pandemic, and this award is presented in recognition of the good people practices everyone at The Grace Eyre Foundation have demonstrated during this time. It is recognition of your flexibility and ability to respond and adapt quickly in a time of crisis.

You care about your people, and we know you’re ambitious to do even more for them.’

What to be proud of:

Your people say The Grace Eyre Foundation is the most respected disability supported service in the South and they are proud to work for you.

Your people love collaboration and engagement with clients and colleagues.

Your line managers are committed to the success of the charity and have gone the extra mile to support staff during COVID-19 pandemic.

Your charity is people centered putting your clients and service users at the heart of the business.

Your ambition is led by your vision, values, and five-year strategy.

This is a journey that we will all be involved with that will take our organisation to the next level in 3 years’ time.
