Our vision for 2020-2025 is to ensure that all our services, activities and head office functions operate from modern, accessible buildings based in the local communities where people live.

Our approach to the renovation has been to honour our building status as a ‘building of interest’ and maintain the beauty of the external building…

…but to revolutionise the inside!

We have created a balance between business and creativity, designing the space to really work for those with learning disabilities, and allowing a healthy integration with our local community. This plan will save this building in the long-term.

The cost of the Big Build is £3.9 million.

So, you can see why we need everyone in our community to know about and want to support this project.

The Big Build is a Big Challenge, but we know the people of Brighton and Hove can go Big when they want to.

The building will be developed into:

  • Flexible community and session space
  • Ground floor multi use Theatre/Arts space & café
  • 8 flats on the Avondale Road side
  • Accessible office accommodation.

Update

We are delighted to announce that Brighton & Hove City Council has granted us full planning permission!

We are now looking at a major fundraising campaign to raise over a million pounds toward the total construction costs of around £3,900,000.

In the meantime, we would love you to have a look at our exciting plans.
