Jane Bettany has recently been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO. She will be covering Governance, HR, IT, Finance, Quality, Health and Safety and stepping in as deputy CEO when Eva is away. Here, Jane tells us a little bit about herself:
“I am a Chartered Accountant and have worked across the private, public and charity sector and hopefully bring lots of experience from that to this newly created role within the Executive Team.
I am also a single mum, living with my 7-year-old daughter in Hove, so work-life balance is important to me and its one of the things I love about working at Grace Eyre.
I have been with Grace Eyre for nearly three years now as our Corporate Director and am proud of all the things my teams have done. I have worked with my teams and other colleagues to introduce our new values and Celebrate Greatness awards, improve our financial and quality reporting, and launched a business transformation project to introduce new systems to make work easier for all of us, other things.
I am looking forward to getting to know all our services better, as well as working with our board to deliver the Big Build and our organisational strategy. My vision is to continue to develop a high performing organisation with happy and fulfilled staff delivering a high-quality service.
I believe we are one of the best providers of learning disability and autism support in the South East and it’s a privilege to work here with all our wonderful staff and people we support. I’m looking forward to doing so for many years to come.”
Any questions?
