Active Lives is recruiting a Senior Project Worker for the Travel Buddy Project. Your role will be to run the Travel Buddy Project that has been successfully funded for the next five years.  The Travel Buddy Project promotes independence through high quality, focused and safe travel training using local public transport and safety awareness as well as helping to build confidence in independent travel.

You will recruit and lead a small team of people to deliver 1:1 based journey training and small group class activities, and launch the ‘Drama on the Bus’ training programme into schools and other community groups.  You will also be working with our service users’ circles of support and key stakeholders, as well as networking with other organisations to facilitate the project.

The role is 37.5 hours per week; this may need to be worked flexibly due to the needs of the project and the individuals being supported. It is also open to job share.
