Grace Eyre has a long history of promoting travel independence through high quality, focused and safe travel training using local public transport and travel safety awareness and the Travel Buddy project continues this legacy.
The Travel Buddy project based at Grace-Eyre Montefiore Road provides training for individuals with learning disabilities to become independent and confident travelers whilst using public transport within the Brighton and Hove area. The Travel Buddy Project has forged strong partnerships with local schools, colleges, places of employment and we also work closely with Brighton and Hove Bus Company.
The Travel Buddy project is committed to improving employment, educational and social opportunities for those with learning disabilities through travel training. We are looking to hear from applicants who share the values of Grace-Eyre/The Travel Buddy Project and who are passionate about helping others achieve their independent travel goals.
The main duties of the role include:
Due to the nature of the job this role involves lone working. You will be required to work flexibly throughout the week.

The Travel Buddy Project is scheduled to run until December 2022.
Successful candidates will be required to provide two referees (one must be your most recent employer) and undertake an enhanced DBS.
