The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898, across Sussex and parts of London and head office based in Hove. Our mission is to be led by people with learning disabilities in delivery of high-quality housing, support, employment, and activities in their local communities.

Shared Lives is all about people living together and sharing their lives. Grace Eyre’s Shared Lives scheme recruits, trains and supports self-employed Carers across the South East to provide a range of services from their home to people with a variety of social care needs.

Grace Eyre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join the Shared Lives team as a Shared Lives Coordinator who will work alongside with the scheme’s Carers to support them in providing high quality services that meet the needs of the people with learning disabilities and mental health needs who access the service.

You will play a role in the recruitment, assessment and support of new Carers as they work towards being approved through the scheme and will offer support, guidance and advice to existing Carers to ensure that they are providing safe services that focus on the development of the people who they support.

Successful applicants will be required to provide details of 2 referees (one must be your most recent employer) and undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
