The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898, across Sussex and parts of London and head office based in Hove. Our mission is to be led by people with learning disabilities in delivery of high-quality housing, support, employment, and activities in their local communities.
Grace Eyre are looking to recruit a team of support workers to provide cover support (annual leave, sickness, training) to some of our already established support services in Brighton and Hove. We are looking to recruit Various permanent contracted positions.
The team will work flexibly to cover support needs in the Worthing Outreach and supported living services. You will be supporting people with learning disabilities, Autism, and other complex needs. The role involves lone working in the community and as part of a team, promoting individuals’ independence by working in a person centered way, enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals, dreams and wishes. The job involve evening and weekend work also.
We support people with all aspects of their lives, such as daily living skills, medication, personal care and finances as well as accessing community activities.
