The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898, across Sussex and parts of London and head office based in Hove. Our mission is to be led by people with learning disabilities in delivery of high-quality housing, support, employment, and activities in their local communities.
Brief Outline of the Role
Taking part in weekly volunteer sessions, working together to grow vegetables on the allotment, develop the plant nursery, and maintain the allotment. Tasks might include:
Group volunteer sessions happen every Thursday, 1:30pm until 4:00pm. Group sessions will involve working alongside individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
No formal experience in gardening required, however it would be beneficial if individuals applying have an interest in gardening and an enthusiasm to learn.

Successful applicants will be required to provide details of 2 referees (one must be your most recent employer) and undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
