Grace Eyre is looking for a Projects Support Manager to coordinate a varied range of projects supporting people with learning disabilities.  Working with the Regional Manager for Active Lives in this role you will be part of the team that creates, develops, plans, seeks funding, delivers and manages multiple existing and new projects.  You will be ensuring the on-going development, delivery and quality assurance including progress to targets of these opportunities.

You will be organised, flexible, solution focussed and able to use your initiative managing the day to day running of activities and competing tasks/projects and deadlines. You will have a proven track record in leading and developing projects as well as a staff team, including effective deployment, management; monitoring, training and supervision. You will have a real passion for delivering excellent high quality, person centred projects.  A formal project management qualification is desirable

Transport Co-ordinator - Hove (GE2016015)

Salary £7004    (prorata to Full-time equivalent  of £17510)

Grace Eyre is looking for a Transport Coordinator to support our team of Driver/Assistant Project Workers and to ensure our small fleet of vehicles are safe for passengers. 

You will be supporting a team of drivers through supervisions, planning training and team meetings.  You will need to plan, book and support vehicles having regular maintenance, MOT’s, Section 19 inspections and other ad hoc requests. 

Applicants will need to be able to drive a minibus as part of this role and therefore need to have a ‘D1’ classification on their driving licence.

Project Manager - Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster GE2016014

Grace Eyre is looking to appoint a highly motivated individual with enthusiasm and drive to play a lead role in this exciting opportunity to develop a new Shared Lives service for adults with learning disabilities in the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.

The 18-month pilot project will involve travelling across London from our offices in Lambeth.

To be successful, you will have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or individuals with other social care needs, as well as of managing a project and supervising staff. 

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to successfully develop local networks. Furthermore, you will be able to work well using your own initiative as well as being a good team player.

Experience of recruitment, training and undertaking assessments will also be essential for this role.

Support Worker - Choices WS Coastal (GE2016007)

Would you like to work with people with learning disabilities in their own homes in West Sussex? Do you want to make a difference in peoples’ lives? If you are motivated, enthusiastic and wish to provide a high quality service for people with learning disabilities and Autism we would love to hear from you. We are looking for support workers to work in customers’ own homes across the Coastal West Sussex region (including Worthing, Littlehampton and Lancing). 

The role involves promoting individuals’ independence by enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals, dreams and wishes. You will be supporting individuals in their own home and in the community with all aspects of daily living skills, including personal care, cooking, budgeting and being part of the community.

You will be part of a rota system with a variety of support sessions with our customers, ranging from one hour to eight hours per session. Some sessions will be in people’s own homes and some will involve taking them out to enjoy activities in the local community and further afield.

A car driver would be desirable though not essential.

Shared Lives Coordinator (GE2016006)

Grace Eyre’s Shared Lives scheme in Lambeth are looking to recruit a highly motivated Shared Lives Coordinator who has experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, people with mental health needs and/ or other social care needs.

 

In this role you will be expected to manage a caseload of individuals and will be required to support and monitor the arrangements provided by our self-employed Carers. You will need to have good assessment and organisational skills, be able to work under your own initiative and have good IT skills. You will work as part of a team in supporting the Carers to provide high quality person centred services that enable individuals to achieve their personal goals.

 

You will need to have experience of working in regulated services and have a good understanding of the Care Quality Commission’s Fundamental Standards.
