West Sussex Friendship Coordinator (GE2014032)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Friendship Coordinator in West Sussex. 

The post is for 1 ½ day a week and will require flexible hours and may involve some evenings and weekends.  

The focus of the roles is to develop exciting Service User led social opportunities for service users living in West Sussex with a particular focus on Worthing and maintaining links the with developments in the wider West Sussex county.

 

You will need to be a good communicator who is able to work as part of a team.  In the role you will be required to meet with groups of people with learning disabilities, find out their likes and preferences and match individuals with other people with similar likes.  A main part of your role will be to organise and support the running of a variety of different activities.  You will need to have a good understanding of the kinds of services and activities that exist in West Sussex for adults with learning disabilities.

Grace Eyre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with experience of working with people with learning difficulties with in the organisation’s day service. Volunteer - Job Coach

The GRACE EYRE Employment Project is currently seeking volunteer job coaches to support adults with learning disabilities into work placements.

 

Job coaches have a varied and valued role supporting adults in our work-skill sessions, travelling to and from work and in the work placement itself. In exchange for your time we offer you high quality training and the chance to be a part of a forward thinking organisation.

Relief Minibus Drivers

We are looking for minibus drivers to support our learning and development centres in Hove.  As well as having a clean current driving license (with D1 approval), you will need excellent communication skills, be able to work in a positive, respectful way with our service users and be very organised.  You may also be asked to join in and support group activities at the centre and in the community within East Sussex.  Due to insurance regulations all applicants must be over 25.  No closing date.
