We are looking to recruit an experienced and creative PA and Office Manager to work closely with our Chief Executive. You will also assist in managing all aspects of the day to day running of the office management systems and processes. The post is being offered as a permanent position and as a job share. It is envisaged that significant modernisation and updated processes will support the charity to achieve its aims.

 

The successful applicant will need to have broad experience of administration and working closely with a senior manager within an organisation, preferably a voluntary sector organisation. You will be part of a team of dedicated and focused head office staff that puts people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs and wishes as a priority in their daily work. You need to be able to manage projects successfully from planning to delivery and completion. As well as this you will also need to ensure that the organisations office processes are fit for purpose. We are looking to recruit an experienced and creative Operations Director to lead and develop our Active Lives, Shared Lives and Choices operational services for the charity. We are looking for an experienced Supported Living Team Leader, in this key role, you will provide leadership support in the operational delivery of our Supported Living services in Worthing and the surrounding areas.  You need the ability to lead a team and to be motivated and inspirational to ensure the service meets the needs of people in a person centred way.  The service provides 24/7 support to individuals with varying needs and abilities. Grace Eyre supports 375 people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs to achieve their dreams and wishes. We are a Sussex based charity that is very keen to develop towards a user led organisation. We believe that as a charity we need to campaign with, work with and include people who use our services, especially in these challenging times.

Grace Eyre is working to an ambitious three year plan which includes growth, increasing our income from fundraising and trading, making our organisation as efficient as possible and to ensure we have a workforce that are skilled and committed.

To help steer this ambitious plan, new trustees are sought with experience and expertise in the following areas:

  • Social Care and Health (particularly learning disability or mental health services)
  • Housing Management (particularly social housing)

Board meetings are held 6 times per year and in addition we ask trustees to sit on one/two of our five committees/subsidiaries;

Finance & IT, Quality & Risk, Human Resources, Grace Eyre Housing and Purple Playhouse Theatre.

The GRACE EYRE Employment Project is currently seeking volunteer job coaches to support adults with learning disabilities into work placements.
