·         Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop and sustain relationships with a variety of stakeholders and funders at all levels.

·         Proven track record of influencing and persuading others.

·         Experience of developing compelling proposals.

·         Managerial experience.

·         Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.

Grace Eyre is looking for a Transport Coordinator to support our team of Driver/Assistant Project Workers and to ensure our small fleet of vehicles are safe for passengers. 

You will be supporting a team of drivers through supervisions, planning training and team meetings.  You will need to plan, book and support vehicles having regular maintenance, MOT’s, Section 19 inspections and other ad hoc requests. 

Applicants will need to be able to drive a minibus as part of this role and therefore need to have a ‘D1’ classification on their driving licence.

Grace Eyre is a unique charity which was established in 1898 and has been helping people with learning disabilities to have real choices and gain independence for over 100 years. While primarily working across Sussex we also support people across parts of London.  Shared Lives is about recruiting carers who can also provide a home for someone with a learning disability.

We have an exciting new role working in partnership with the London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster to lead and develop our Shared Lives service.  We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner, ideally with a social care background and experience of working with people with learning disabilities. We are looking for support workers to work in customers’ own homes across the Coastal West Sussex region (including Worthing, Littlehampton and Lancing). 

The role involves promoting individuals’ independence by enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals, dreams and wishes. You will be supporting individuals in their own home and in the community with all aspects of daily living skills, including personal care, cooking, budgeting and being part of the community.

You will be part of a rota system with a variety of support sessions with our customers, ranging from one hour to eight hours per session. Some sessions will be in people’s own homes and some will involve taking them out to enjoy activities in the local community and further afield.

A car driver would be desirable though not essential.

Grace Eyre’s Shared Lives scheme in Lambeth are looking to recruit a highly motivated Shared Lives Coordinator who has experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, people with mental health needs and/ or other social care needs.

 

In this role you will be expected to manage a caseload of individuals and will be required to support and monitor the arrangements provided by our self-employed Carers. You will need to have good assessment and organisational skills, be able to work under your own initiative and have good IT skills. You will work as part of a team in supporting the Carers to provide high quality person centred services that enable individuals to achieve their personal goals.

 

You will need to have experience of working in regulated services and have a good understanding of the Care Quality Commission’s Fundamental Standards.
