Service Manager West Sussex Choices Northern (GE2014041)

We are Grace Eyre, a charity that supports people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.

 This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of staff, supporting them to maintain and enhance a high quality supported living service provided to people with learning disabilities, living in the community in the Crawley and Horsham area.

 You will manage rotas, supervise staff, hold staff meetings, monitor and quality check person centred service delivery.

 We provide staff with a full range of e-learning courses, Simply Health Care Plan, pension and the opportunity to work with a charity that works to ensure we provide innovative solutions to fill the hopes and dreams of people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.

 You will be part of a team of Service Managers across West Sussex directly supported and supervised by the Regional Manager.

QCF/NVQ in management or comparable management training desirable but management experience will be taken into account.

Are you an enthusiastic individual who is motivated and inspired to provide high quality services for people with learning disabilities?

In the role of support worker you will be expected to support adults with learning disabilities in a supported living house to develop their independent living skills, support in the community, travel training and achieve their dreams and wishes.

Fundraiser Head Office (GE2014047)

We're looking for an ambitious and committed fundraiser who will focus on unrestricted fundraising! The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and presentation skills and have a proven track record of building successful relationships. They will need to demonstrate:

· A successful track record of generating income against agreed targets based on generating “unrestricted” income such as relationships with corporate partners or high net worth individuals, events, legacies, raffles etc.

Relief Project Worker - Active Lives - Hove

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join our bank of relief staff to help support adults with learning disabilities at our learning and development centres in Hove and in service users’ own homes and out in the community within the East and West Sussex areas. 

We have a number of roles, which involve assisting staff in the running of arts, sports & living skills sessions, supporting people to access their local community, increasing independence, providing support with welfare and benefits, increasing confidence and some personal care. 

Our Community Outreach and Supported Living serviced provide 24/7 support, so you need to be available to work at all times of the week, including sleep-ins and waking nights when required.  No closing date.

Volunteer - Job Coach

The GRACE EYRE Employment Project is currently seeking volunteer job coaches to support adults with learning disabilities into work placements.

 

Job coaches have a varied and valued role supporting adults in our work-skill sessions, travelling to and from work and in the work placement itself. In exchange for your time we offer you high quality training and the chance to be a part of a forward thinking organisation.
