When will we do this?

We are going to have about 30 or 40 jobs for people with learning disabilities starting now!

West Sussex County Council are working with WorkAid to develop and recruit to our jobs

Easy Read Job Profiles

Training for Staff

Make our employment policies Easy Read

Develop Intranet pages in Easy Read format

Fair recruitment process

Admin Assistants

Supplies Assistant/s

Catering and Kitchen Assistants

Water Testers – lots of them!

Grounds Assistants

Technical Assistants

Historic Records Assistant

 

What’s next?

Catering Assistant at St Anthony’s and Downlands Community Schools

Kitchen Assistant at The Chestnuts

Interview if more than one applicant

6 week working trial if successful appointed

Encourage our suppliers to offer jobs to people with learning disabilities
