Charitable Trusts and Foundations

Our work enjoys the support of many charitable trusts and foundations. They have been essential in the growth of some of our projects.

Here are some recent examples of the work supported by charitable trusts and foundations.

Travel Buddy Scheme - The Henry Smith Charity gave us 52,000 to support the staffing of the scheme over two years. In addition we have recently received support from The Sobell Foundation who have provided a grant of 10,000 over two years. Other trusts that have helped the scheme include the Sussex Community Foundation, the Argus Appeal and The David Solomons Charitable Trust.

Theatre Appeal - We are currently refurbishing our theatre. We are delighted to have received of 10,000 from the Clothworkers Company, 10,000 from Awards for All and 5,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation. We are aiming to raise 36,000 so we are getting nearer our target.

Better Lives Project - Last year we received £1,000 from the Kathleen Laurence Trust, £500 from the Lynn Foundation and £500 from the Friarsgate Trust to help people with learning disabilities in Brighton & Hove take part in their city.

We are very grateful to all the charitable trusts and foundations that have supported our projects. We are always looking to build relationships with new trusts and foundations, and have a range of projects and services looking for support.

If you are a trustee of a charitable trust or foundation and are interested in finding out more, then please contact us.
