Grace Eyre offers a range of activities that are designed to support the individual to improve their ability and increase their confidence with basic skills, including numeracy, literacy, computer skills, signing and living skills.
Living Skills

Living skills provides a safe and fun space for people to learn and develop their cooking skills and gain greater awareness of important issues such as healthy eating, nutrition, health and safety in the kitchen and food hygiene.
This programme aims to give those taking part confidence, competence and independence in all aspects of meal preparation from setting up a room, preparing food, using electrical equipment and creating a whole meal.

Interactive Learning
The media suite features touch screens, accessible keyboards, adjustable desks and also a large interactive whiteboard.
Our media suite is used for a range of courses including simple computer skills, internet browsing, video and photo editing and newsletter production. Participants have also explored our world using Google earth, gathered information about recycling for the Green Team and used a variety of sites for puzzles and quizzes. |
