The Arts
Grace Eyre supports artists in a range of creative, multi media workshops.
These include painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, video, mosaics and needlework. Many of the artists have developed individual styles and artistic skills which have enabled them to sell their works at exhibitions and through the May festival's Open House.
Please contact us for any further information in regards to both joining the art sessions or the purchase of any work displayed on this web site. |

Performing Arts
For many years Grace Eyre has worked in partnership with a number of performing arts, dance and music specialists. Individuals have gained greater levels of confidence and performance skills.
Throughout the year the groups put on a range of performances both at the centres and at groups and events, such as the Blue Camel club. These have included the puppet theatre, singing, morris dancing and contemporary dance. |

Newsletter Group
Grace Eyre encourages people to be involved in as many parts of the organistation as possible. We encourage people to talk about things, and this has lead to the creation of the newsletter group. They produce their own monthly newsletter. The team really enjoy the opportunity to write about events from the month and have a lot of fun dressing up for pictures to go with their chosen stories!
Their newsletter will soon be available here! |

Green fingers
Grace Eyre has a number of different opportunities to participate in both horticulture and gardening maintenance.
The premises owned by the organisation have adapted raised beds and fully assessable garden areas alongside a large allotment in Hove. The allotment is gearing up to grow produce to supply the new ‘Angel Cake Café’. Our Walsingham road building has also now developed a number of garden activities which are also producing vegetables and fruit to be used in the Grace Eyre cafe. |

Sports activity
The active lives service lives up to it’s name by offering support to enable people to participate in a broad range of recreational and sporting activities. These include swimming, bowling, horse riding, healthwalks and rambles, yoga, keep fit and power lifting.
People throughout the year are encouraged to learn new skills and live a healthy and active life. This year one Grace Eyre individual represented Great Britain in China at the Special Olympics power lifting tournament. Others athletes have taken part in a number of tournaments throughout the year. |
